This site was created to educate and promote Epidermolysis Bullosa awareness otherwise known as EB. EB is a rare genetic disease which is characterized by the presence of extremely fragile skin and blistering resulting from friction or trauma. McKenzie was born with the diagnosis of Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa and fights the battle of this terribly painful disease daily. Although everyday is a challange we remain hopeful and positive that someday there will be a cure for EB. Please learn more about EB and help fight the fight. |

McKenzie is 8 years old and will be attending the 3rd grade. She is a sweet and thoughtful little girl that often places others needs and feelings ahead of hers. McKenzie loves her puppy named Shiloh and likes to play with Polly Pockets, Barbies, reading, coloring, and oh yeah watching Hannah Montana. |
